Abstract

In this study we aimed to emphasize the public safety issues through a historical review on the subject and applicability within the public and private policies. Showing that public safety is not an obligation only of government but throughout society, where we get together to solve security issues and preserving the physical integrity of the population. Some interviews were conducted with professionals, who gave their views on how public safety is in Indaiatuba. With the statistical data sought was to show how variation in crime in the city of Indaiatuba between the years 2006 to 2009.
