The use of Reverse Logistics as contribution to the reduction of residue from plastic packaging

Abstract

the present article discusses the importance of Reverse Logistics, presenting their characteristics and demonstrating it as a way for residue reduction, focusing on the plastic packaging. It was performed a literature research on the themes involved by raising its aspects and correlating what various authors have elaborated about the same subject, of which several scientific articles were verified. Data were analyzed qualitatively obtaining as results factors such as the greater environmental awareness, the option of using returnable containers, the importance of recycling after the post-consumption and partnerships between customers and suppliers to the good functioning of Reverse Logistics.
