Inventory reduction in line processes of mobile electronic payment terminals

Abstract

The JIT is much more than a technique or a set of techniques for production management, it is considered as a complete "philosophy." The aim of this study is to present the reduction of inventory in a manufacturing company of electronic payment terminals via credit card or debit card by applying the philosophy of Just-in-Time and lean manufacturing tools by the method “one piece flow” using the tool Sushi Box. The results allowed the organization great benefits such as increased quality, reliability, cost reduction and in turn increase productivity and profits.
