Abstract

Develop a dialogue between urbanization and health is the main intention of this article, based on existing documentation, defines as a technique first and second as a science. The interaction between them, a new field for health professionals and city managers, since they provide a set of tools that facilitate the actions of a territorial nature and understanding of how this relationship takes place, while enhancing the knowledge about the territorial health. The composition historical and evolution over time provide the necessary elements for discussion of how the NHS is organized in Brazilian space from the human presence, identifying problems in the health field in each region, and its correlation with the urban aspects involved. From this interaction, plan public health policies and support to managers in this field are extremely important issues. The territory to which reference is made is not limited to mere district, inhabited by humans, it is justified by their relations and bonds with the environment, requiring actions ordered by the state, guaranteeing all citizens access to full health either directly or indirectly. This service culminates in Brazil, with the wording of the Statute of the City that after the municipalization of health, has ensured the tools and conditions necessary to enable the managers to the promotion of the latter, which as can be seen, has been discussed for nearly a century .
