Civil liability for violation of the image in social media

Abstract

This paper was prepared for the purpose of inquiring the issue of violation of the right image in social media (Internet), ascertaining the liability of the offender and of the website/server where the offense occurred. To do so, we will proceed to the conceptualization of these new media, we will discuss about the damage to the image and examine the active and passive poles of the obligation arising from such violation.
