Abstract

The Quality of Working Life is considered a challenge for professionals today that accumulate different activities in a single period. The objective of this study is to analyze scientific literature on the Quality of Working Life Nurses in Hospital environment as a triggering factor of the disease - Burnout Syndrome. This is a literature review from 2006 to 2011. The survey was conducted from the search in the databases: BDENF, LILACS and SciELO. 30 papers were subsequently performed for record keeping to approach the subject, so we selected only 9 consistent with the research articles were obtained. After the analysis of the items used can be concluded that nurse practitioners are affected by burnout syndrome, but research on the subject is still scarce, and only studies by psychologists and nurses were observed.
