Geoenvironmental aspects and fragile areas in Brazil

Abstract

This paper analyzes the geo-environmental aspects (rock, soil, water, vegetation, topography, climate and land use and occupation), according literature information, especially in its importance of nature integrated and in environmental equilibrium. These aspects act as essential support sustainability studies, emphasizing the Brazilian fragile areas. These areas are also named high natural vulnerability, where human actions are almost always catastrophics, reason it is necessary a technical and scientific support in advising it’s restrict use and occupancy. This study, of reflective nature with technical considerations, is justified in order to contribute to a better understanding of the behavior and protection of fragile areas presents in the Brazilian Forest Code (Federal Law 12727/2012).
