Abstract

The current competitive nature of the market makes the demand for technology upgrades in industries occur in an increasing speed. In manufacturing by machining process updates this demand is amplified by the long lead time of this process and its importance in the manufacturing sector in the pursuit of maximum performance and optimization of machine tools, companies invest software, which highlights the CAM models . Currently CAM software, the graphical representation of the simulation machining, consider only the tool path programmed in advance, disregarding the time of rapid advances in its calculation, generating a discrepancy in time generated by the system with the actual obtained in machining. Moreover, decision-making processes of weather forecast tool on a CNC machine are based on the implicit knowledge CAM programmer. As a result, this paper presents the development of a mathematical model is demonstrated in a case study to support the manufacturing information in the calculation of the cycle time of drilling on CNC machine system.
