Abstract

The MASSUr Project (Sustainable Mobility and Accessibility in Urban Health Program) from the Faculty Jaguariuna (FAJ) is part of the SMART Program, (Sustainable Mobility and Accessibility Research and Transformation Program) from the University of Michigan, and focus at cooperating with the development of healthy public policies for mobility and accessibility. This article aims at promoting a data update from electronic database within the years 2003 to 2012 of the scientific production on mobility and accessibility, in order to amplifying the knowledge made by MASSUr, subsidizing new reflections and actions. For that purpose, the keywords ‘mobility’, ‘accessibility’ and urban health’ were searched through electronic database. A content analysis sheet was created with the following information: gender of authors, type of authorship, published journals, type of work and approached content of work. The data quantitatively systematized from pre-established categories. The findings revealed 15 published articles in 12 scientific journals; it was verified a dominance of multiple authorship (66,67%), in which 60% belong to the male gander. Also, findings indicated a frequency of studies on the key word “urban mobility” and a concentration of published articles of the researched subject in the years 2005 and 2011. In conclusion, it is necessary to extend the studies on this field and it is expected that the emphasized discussion in this present article contribute as indicators for futures researches and publications.
