THE INDIVIDUALITY AND CONJUGALITY OF WOMEN WHO ATTEND THE SARC IN ASSIS/SP

The contemporary world has a significant paradox with regard to romantic relationships, as the intense appreciation of individuality is faced with the difficult task of maintaining the marital. In this research we analyze the reconfiguration of family and interpersonal relationships in the face of state interference, focusing on issues relating to the dynamics of marital and family ties of individuals living in a particular social and economic context. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews with six women attending the II Social Assistance Reference Center (II SARC) in Assis - SP, and living in a stable relationship for at least two years. The sample consisted of convenience, after visits and observations within the institution itself. We note that the CRAS has a key role in the lives of these women for being a collective space that provides the development of individual potential without themselves realize, for what is more evident are the benefits of group living.
