Abstract

This paper aims to discuss the curriculum development of the discipline of Brazilian Sign Language (Libras ) in teacher training, bringing cuttings analyzes the experience in the subjects taught by the authors and , therefore , present the involvement of ( the ) students ( the ) both theoretical and practical aspect . The work is based on the analysis of discourse permeated by concepts of Vygotsky (1998 ) and Bakhtin (2006 ) , realizing the historical correlation present in the construction of the discipline , as well as the dialogic relation to the composition of new knowledge ; and Foucault (1979 ) the relations of knowledge and power that are emerging certain cultural productions for the fruitful moment and analysis . So our question is outlined as follows : how is consolidating the program and curriculum in this discipline ? What the actual interfaces of the same and the visible commitment of future educators who had in his crate to Pounds as a compulsory subject ? The results point to the fact that the change in the normalizing conceptions of deaf students , in order to enable future teachers a more realistic and proper view of these students was more significant for these graduates than just the basic knowledge of the language of signals.

Graduada em Pedagogia com habilitação em Educação Especial pela PUCCAMP (2004). Especialista em psicopedagogia institucional e clínica - Atualize/Unibem (2007). Mestre em Educação pela UNICAMP (2008). Doutora em Educação pela UNICAMP na área de concentração em filosofia e história da educação (2013). Professora da Universidade Federal de São Carlos (UFSCar) no curso de Bacharelado em Tradução e Interpretação em Libras/ Língua Portuguesa no Departamento de Psicologia. Pesquisadora vinculada ao grupo de pesquisa Surdez e Abordagem Bilíngue (UFSCar). Membro do Grupo de Estudos TRANSVERSAL coordenado pelo Prof. Dr. Silvio Gallo e do GES (Grupo de Estudos Surdos) coordenado pela professora Dra. Lilian. Coordenadora do grupo de estudos discursivo em língua de sinais (GEDILS) em parceria com o professor Vinícius Nascimento na UFSCar.

Lilian Cristine Ribeiro NASCIMENTO, Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP)

Possui graduação em Fonoaudiologia pela Pontificia Universidade Católica de Campinas (1987), mestrado em Educação pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2002) e doutorado em Educação pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2007). Atualmente é professor doutor da Faculdade de Educação da Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em Educação de surdos, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: educação de surdos, consciência fonológica, fracasso escolar, terapia fonoaudiológica e avaliação.
