This paper aims to discuss the curriculum development of the discipline of Brazilian Sign Language (Libras ) in teacher training, bringing cuttings analyzes the experience in the subjects taught by the authors and , therefore , present the involvement of ( the ) students ( the ) both theoretical and practical aspect . The work is based on the analysis of discourse permeated by concepts of Vygotsky (1998 ) and Bakhtin (2006 ) , realizing the historical correlation present in the construction of the discipline , as well as the dialogic relation to the composition of new knowledge ; and Foucault (1979 ) the relations of knowledge and power that are emerging certain cultural productions for the fruitful moment and analysis . So our question is outlined as follows : how is consolidating the program and curriculum in this discipline ? What the actual interfaces of the same and the visible commitment of future educators who had in his crate to Pounds as a compulsory subject ? The results point to the fact that the change in the normalizing conceptions of deaf students , in order to enable future teachers a more realistic and proper view of these students was more significant for these graduates than just the basic knowledge of the language of signals.
