The teacher must be open to his groups and students individuality, planning his lessons from it. This paper aims to describe a strategy for evaluating the subjectivity of students, in order to improve the teacher’s practice. The strategy used has as referential the action research as described by David Tripp, and its applicability in this context is understood as a complement to Alterity Listen, as it aims to 'listen' the students, to understand them and respect their idiosyncrasies. The action research has proven an important technique for establishing the Alterity Listen, the students' understanding and improvement of pedagogical practice in the classroom.
