Accident with biological material and feelings of rough

Abstract

This article aims to analyze accidents with biological material and or perforating-cutting between health workers with emphasis on nursing as well as medical management and adherence to post-exposure treatment and the feelings experienced by the victim. The source search was the Virtual Health Library (VHL), in Lilacs and SciELO, held in September 2014, for the years 2004 to 2014 the following inclusion criteria were used: written journals Portuguese and accessed in full text on the subject. 43 studies were included in this review. Publications pinpointed the fear, anger, guilt and sadness feelings as reported in the studies. We conclude that the feelings were poorly treated in publications, therefore, fitting new studies in order to deepen the theme for subsequent analysis.
