“Happy Home”

Abstract

The Happy Home in the city of Jaguariúna / SP, is an institution that welcomes children and adolescents that are away from the family, for being abused or be at risk. The purpose of the visits in the institution was to investigate and provide evidence for the diagnosis of group members identifying representations about its reality, to express the set of collective representations and observe the movement of the subject in the Affective Field. The observed data were recorded in Field Journal. Of participatory observations made suggested a work-shop experience with teens. The construction of identity in adolescence is marked by reference to groups, friendship is a strong emotional bond between them during their stays in the institution, but the "look" for a future outside the institution shows that they have not stopped dreaming.
