Measurement of business using techniques the general prices level

Abstract

The aim of this study is to seek a technique to measure the business performance of a wholesale paint firm, by means of a financial-economic analysis, using the balance sheets that show the assets at a given moment, which allows us to obtain information such as solvency, indebtedness, yield, turnover etc. Analyzing the historical behavior of the periods covered by the balance over a given time span as well as the results achieved, it defines the trend and uses concepts which correct the general prices level to adjust these financial statements, thus producing a more realistic analysis.
