Abstract

The origin of Human Rights is selfish. Awakened by this accusation of Karl Marx, the following work aims to reflect it and promote evenly matched thoughts skepticism of Nietzsche, the otherness of Levinas, the compassion of Schopenhauer and Kantian morality. The objective is to verify the veracity of the subject and, depending on the results found, work a possible universal education in human rights from the existing intricate veiled selfishness in our social environment. The figure of the "self" morally broken and considered defective may be the primary source for the construction of a reasoned discourse on human rights.
