Abstract

In order to adapt an existing process, the work that follows is aimed at developing and electronic construction for a prototype designed to eradicate larvae of the mosquito that transmits dengue, able to get around reservoirs average volume of water. This work is not intended to apply or evaluate the results of the same in the eradication of larvae. The proposed prototype uses a floating structure that comprises all the hardware used in the same, operationalized through a solar cell and rechargeable batteries one understood by an aerator system, propulsion system and self-direction controlled by Arduino® platform and sonars installed around the structure. The device performs monitoring of batteries, power automatic selection, low battery alert and toggle between normal mode and standby during the night. To meet the development is proposed the design and construction of the electronic circuit, installation of control components and protection, insertion equipment for control and automation, identifying them to eliminate short-circuit risk, reduce failures, quality improvement in product and minimal waste of resources. design tools will be employed Schedule and EPLAN® Electric P8.
