Abstract

A phytotherapeutic cosmetic for acne is an option to a less abrasive when compared to synthetic medicine. Into this research were formulated a soap Hamamelis virginiana, Rosmarinus officinalis and Matricaria chamomilla based and a gel Calendula officinalis, Melaleuca alternifolia essential oil , Aloe vera and Lavandula angustifolia essential oil based to be applied daily into patient with acne rates I, II and III. The manipulation of these two products was realized into a laboratory of a handling pharmacy, to guarantee a higher quality into the final products. Was realized the soap and gel utilization by eight female volunteers with ages between 18 and 30 years and were applied bi-weekly QA to analyze the effect of the applied products. From the collected data, it’s possible to affirm that there’s reduction of the acne symptoms by the healing, antiseptic, astringent and anti-inflammatory action that is prevenient from the soap and gel.
