Health-related quality of life (QOL) assessment means weighing the patient's perspective on the impact of illness and treatment on his life. The aim of this study was to evaluate the quality of life of patients with hemophilia A from the WHOQOL-bref instrument. This is a cross-sectional study and described the characteristics of the patients at a hemocenter in the city of Santarém-PA, Brazil. The results showed that the quality of life of patients with hemophilia A had a General Mean Score of 3.68 and was considered as a regular quality of life. The study showed that the hemophiliacs present a regular quality of life, and the greater deficit of this one is due to the low income and difficulty of access to health services, showing that a more complete attention to these patients is still needed.
