The present study is a review of how stretching is presented to people and athletes in general. The different types of stretching, such as static, ballistic, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF). The goal was identify the influence of stretching on the muscular hypertrophy process. The methodology used was a literature review. As a result, it can be observe that stretching is beneficial to realization of the various types of exercises.
