Abstract

Marital separation, a dive in the children´s universe is the journey that empathically propitiates, meet, discuss and reflect on how this world with such adult relationships can interfere on children´s fragility. Marital separation is justified as an object of studies, especially in psychology, where the presence of children becomes a booster of conflicts, thus understanding the psychological, emotional and social damages, adds values to a field of studies that aims, in essence, to promote health in all levels of life. It searches to know in what ways and in what proportions marital separation can impact a child's life. How can this affect your affective, cognitive and social development? We have as hypothesis that the process of family rupture can shake the psychological structure and family interactions. In the search for scientific articles, we selected the index base SciELO Regional, obtained as a general result of the search 254 scientific articles. In a process of analysis of the results and eliminations, we concluded with 21 articles, studied in their entirety and used as a basis for the creation of this scientific work. We concluded that the conjugal separations conducted in a conflictive way generate results able to impact on the physical, mental and social welfare of the child.
