Abstract

This research seeks to explore the changes in the forms of inhabiting modern architecture. It is intended to deepen the knowledge about the architecture of the second half of the 20th century, on the basis of your impact on the everyday life of its inhabitants. The aim is to explore the adaptations suffered by this architecture to handle changes in ways of life from your building to this. Through documentaries on collective housing seeks to problematize the ways living evidenced by residents and users of conflicting with the scenes and frameworks established by the directors of selected documentaries. So have been analyzed the movies Edifício Master, de Eduardo Coutinho (2002), Copan 60 horas, de Cristina Aragão (2017) e Pedregulho – O sonho é possível, de Ivana Mendes (2006). In this way, we seek to deepen the knowledge of the objects of study in addition to fostering discussions on collective housing, its forms of appropriation and the historical heritage.
