Abstract

The aim of the present study is to indentify the main physical theraphist treatment for urinary incontinence in eldery women. This study is a rewiew and were used medline, bvs and scielo as database. The key words were: elderly,feminine, physical therapy, urinary incontinence. Articles in Portuguese, English and Spanish were selected from 2008 until the currenty date. The results were eletroestimulation, kinesiotherapy, biofeedback as the main physical therapy techinic, showing that the use of these thecnics is efficient for urinary incontinence, improving the quality of life for elderly women
