A Study on Afro-brazilian Movements in the Field of Architecture and Urbanism

Abstract

Blanching ideas aims to present new references in development for the fields of architecture and urbanism in favor of the valorization of Afro-Brazilian culture. In this article, it is proposed to analyze the scientific production coming from the Afro-descendant academic community, trying to understand how these agents have built new perspectives in their studies. Throughout the research, the mapping and quantification of this production was promoted and, besides that, source was the expressive movement of groups of architects in the social networks.
