Abstract

This study aims to evaluate changes in mechanical properties of Poli (e- caprolactone) (PCL), a unnatural polymer, belonging to the family of aliphatic polyesters, much studied as a substrate for biodegradation and used in the medical field for its characteristics of biocompatibility, with the addition of sodium bicarbonate, a substance used as an expander-based polymer. The purpose of adding bicarbonate is the generation of opened pores in the fabric of the film to facilitate the incorporation of substances that can be carried by the polymer for biological systems.
