Abstract

This paper aims to raise discussions about the theme “sustainable development” from the perspective of several authors, in addition to presenting an example of sustainable planning in New York City and its results. And when exposing these data, create a discussion involving the definitions of sustainability and the extent to which it is something positive for solving the problems caused by global warming.
