Abstract

Considering that many children will have their first contact with Sport in Physical Education, the pedagogical strategies used by teachers will influence their sports and social education. In this context, the contents of such strategies can be related to the references of Sport Pedagogy (technical-tactical, historicalcultural and socio-educational), and the issues related to the development of values are the focus of this study. Our objective in this article was to analyze the pedagogical strategies used by Physical Education teachers in different situations, with the objective of socio-educational development of their students. A descriptive and qualitative model was applied, which analyzed reports lived by the authors. The reports showed that the pedagogical strategies addressed by the teachers were decisive so that themes such as aggression, gender issues and the importance of complying with rules were highlighted in the analyzed situations. Also, it is emphasized that the effective pedagogical strategies that were carried out are based on increasing social interaction and dialogue for their occurrence.
