Abstract

The present work aimed to monitor the results of the cryotherapy treatment in relation to the clinical manifestation of pain, wound healing and evaluate your impact at quality of life; aiming to share information with other physiotherapy professionals about the use of new techniques for the treatment of venous ulcers. The methods used were patient assessment, comparative photography, cryotherapy and high-tech bandage for the sore. The results reached were reduction local swelling, wound dimension and the pain. The conclusion is the efficiency treatment relation cicatrization, pain and other aspects inflammation, besides the reduction of impact of venous ulcers at the quality of life.
