Abstract

The research report presents the results of the first research group in strategic administration in the institution with the general objective of evaluating the viability of a collaborative digital platform that brings readers and writers closer together. The case study method were applied using bibliographic instruments and field information for knowledge of the electronic publishing sector and user/reader's vision in an educational institution in western Bahia. The results indicate that, although the traditional editorial segment does not see the digital book as expressive competitive, electronic tools and internet resources has multiplied for access to academic content that escapes the traditional supply chain of access to knowledge, making collaborative platforms of direct communication between readers and writers feasible.
