Abstract

It has been estimated that 1 liter of disposed oil pollutes 25 thousand liters of water. Besides that, in 2016, 3.9 billion liters of cooking oil were produced, and only 30 million of this amount, were recycled, it means a 0,76% out of total. An estimated that 200 million liters of oil are thrown into the nature to four possible destinations: sewer, ground, rivers, lakes, and landfill. Thereby we understand that happens a pollution growth in these places, and, the possibility to damage in the plumbing. Besides that, the species that live around and/or in the rivers, lakes can die, because the oil causes a kind of barrier on the water, avoiding the incidence of highlights, blocking the breathing. Because of that, we attempt to understand and analyse the whole reusing cooking oil and transformation process to a biodegradable soap, avoiding polluting the environment. The results show effective and everyone could use it as a cleaning item in homes, as well as a personal hygiene item.
