SERUM FACIAL CONTENDO BIO ATIVOS HIDRATANTES E ANTIENVELHECIMENTO FACIAL SERUM CONTAINING MOISTURIZING AND ANTI-AGING BIOACTIVES

Abstract

The demand for natural cosmetics has increased significantly in recent years, which makes this market very attractive for the development of new formulations. Given the above, the objective of this work was to develop a natural cosmetic formulation of facial serum, with moisturizing and anti-aging action. The formulation is composed of oil of Persea americana (Avocado), glycolic extract of Aloe vera (aloe) and Articum lappa (burdock), essential oil of Cymbopogon citratus (Lemon grass) and Zingiber officinale (ginger). The handling and quality control tests were carried out following what is recommended by RDC No. 48/2013. The formulation did not show phase separation. The organoleptic characteristics showed a viscous appearance, light brown color, earthy odor, and touch sensation considered soft. The results showed a pH compatible with the skin (6.0). Viscosity ranged from 5,250 Cp to 5,485 Cp, with a DPR (%) of 2.7%, considering application. In addition to a future commercialization process, the label and packaging were developed. After analyzing the results, it was possible to verify that the formulation presents satisfactory compatible and attractive aspects.
