Abstract

The freedom is discussed emphasizing the process of educating the teacher. The educator responsibility in its own educational process is highlighted. The conception of an aristocratic education is discussed based on Mendonça (2009), the freedom concept is examinated based on the thinking of Nietzsche (2007) and Kant (1996) and important commentators, and the educator teaching is discussed based on Freire (1987). The building of its own learning by the student that will become a teacher, may be possible if he can utilize its own motivation and questions on the way of the self overcoming and self criticism, aiming at the excellence. For Kant (1996), the enlightment is essential for the freedom, and the freedom can not be persued if people do not give up of submitting themselves to the others´opinion. For Nietzsche (2007), the freedom is only possible for the aristocratic being that puts himself away of everbody´s values and makes himself capable of creating its own set of values like a child that is never tired of “playing” the life and inventing new rules to base its life.
