A school practice on the reading and understanding of strips

This article aims to show which are the difficulties that prevent the Elementary School student from understanding the content of the strips. This work is based on theories that deal with textual linguistics and presents a brief analysis of two strips: one from Monica's Class and another from Mafalda's character. The paper also presents, in its final considerations, that the reading of strips should be a constant in the classroom, in the most diverse disciplines.
