Abstract

This project presents the applicability of the DMAIC and its tools. The theme aims to increase the knowledge of improvements in projects. Deepen the theoretical explanation of Quality tools and their applications in the market. The results analyzed through research will measure the applicability of the main DMAIC tools and ease of implementation. The overall objective is to measure the applicability of continuous improvement projects, demonstrate their use and how to achieve the expected goal. Analyze the understanding of the five steps: define, measure, analyze, improve and control. Better, approach the knowledge about the tool and help investigate problems. The methodology chosen was a quantitative research, through a questionnaire applied in a sample of company Y of the branch of Analysis Laboratory to study the application of the tool. If the research yields positive results, the applicability of the main DMAIC tools in continuous improvement projects will be measured for effective action generation, standardization, and performance improvement.
