Family Health Strategy Professionals' Satisfaction with Working Conditions

This work aims to evaluate the satisfaction of professionals of Family Health Strategies in relation to working conditions. A cross-sectional, descriptive, prospective study was carried out with professionals working in a municipality of Vale do Jequitinhonha / MG. Eligible professionals answered a questionnaire, self-filling, made up of sociodemographic and occupational variables; variables related to work and referring to health conditions, after which the absolute and relative frequencies were performed. The 149 professionals, 96 (64.4%) answered the questionnaire. There was a predominance of female (87.5%), brown / brown (69.8%), married (44.8%), Community Health Agents (12.5%), professionals who did not study in the (76%) and had worked in the health unit for more than 1 year (27.1%), with incomplete teams (62.5%). Among these, 96 participants in the research 43 (44.8%) justified the reasons for job dissatisfaction and 16.7% of these suggested proposals for reversion of discontent such as: capacity building (31.2%), improved working conditions (25%) and reorganization of the teams (18.7%). It was concluded that a complete work team and training are fundamental elements for the satisfaction of professionals. It is suggested that managers know the local peculiarities to promote a more satisfactory work environment with consequent improvement for users of Primary Care of the municipality and further studies are performed to complement these data.
