Abstract

The main of this research is to understand how nurses understand the role of leadership in their daily work. This is a descriptive research on the quantitative question with the nurses of the 16 health units, based on a questionnaire on the semi-structured questions of the year 2018. 13 years of training and 10 years of study in primary care. Their majority was specialized, and more than half were not as managers of the unit where they worked. It is administered to everything and the process is one to the approach. Compared nursing as the main characteristic of a keyword was empathy, sharing responsibility, respecting, being flexible and knowing how to listen. These are those that are inherent to the profession and to the daily work, and that must be done every day.
