The social imaginary about the Misak indigenous from Colombia in cyberspace, as an extension of their territory and knowledge

The article focuses on the construction of the social imaginary about the Misak indigenous people, based on the different hypermedia contents in cyberspace. Also, it analyzes what are the forms of representation and the meanings immersed in digital productions. The methodology is netnographic in the light of the semiotics of culture. Therefore, the social imaginary about the indigenous is woven into four spirals (elements) fundamental to understanding the extent of their territory and misak knowledge. In addition, this study encourages more research to understand our society in processes of change that influence physical space and cyberspace.
